2 Brothers On The 4th Floor Whats going on with 2 Brothers On The 4th Floor today? First of all they will perform live on May 31th in Evenementanzaal in Delfzijl and on Oktober 3rd in Assen, Holland.
DesRay herself is still singing old classics with her band under the name DesRay & Friends. She likes soul and jazz music and performs live hits like Beautifil Day, All Night Long, Time After Time and Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Her next concert will be on May 3rd in Gooiland te Hilversum. DesRay had also recorded two dance tracks I Want It All (by Queen) and Respect (by Aretha Franklin) and still takes parts in the bands Diva's Of Dance and Killer Queen .
D-Rock's latest collaboration is with the house project Soul Migrantz with whom he released two hits :Calling Chicago and Socialize.


Diva's of Dance The Diva's Of Dance (Anita Doth, DesRay and Linda) will keep on singing in 2009 again. In the last few years they had a huge success in Holland with the hits Deeper Love, Lost In Music and Falling Into The Groove. Nevermind that the divas still have arrangements with their old bands or with their solo careers they decided to keep the project alive.The new Idea is to make concerts together with their rapper partners and singing the biggest eurodance hits. So this year we will have Anita & Ray, DesRay & D-Rock and Linda & Shamrock on the scene. The next concert of the divas and co. is planned for May 12th 2009. More infos.



Double You DJ Ross aka Rossano Prini have made a brand new hit together again with Double You and its a remix of the old hit Please Dont Go (DWA). The track DJ ROSS VS. DOUBLE YOU – Please don’t go 2009 (Dj Ross Club Mix) was released in DJ Ross' last Cd Compilation - The Bomb. This is the name of his italian radio show. Eurodance bands invaded Romania on New Years Eve, La Bouche was invited on Buzau, Captain Hollywood on Focsani and 2Unlimited aka Anita Doth on Iasi.


AnnaGrace single Let the feelings go was choosen the song of the year 2009 in Ultratop dance chart. This single spend 20 weeks in this chart in 2009.
Another news is the new single Love keeps calling, was chosen Dancesmash on Radio 538 also enters the Ultratop Dance at #3.

Lyv McQueen, Jinny's vocalist is back with the project. She has now her official Myspace and she performs in discotheques Jinny's biggest hits...

Milk Inc Filip Vandueren confirmed on his Twitter that there won't be any DVD of Milk Inc Blackout concerts.    The hot blond from Sylver - Silvy de Bie is back with an amazing tune. I think the break that she took from dance scene was a good one, she helped her very much for the new track Fire worked with dutch dj Nils Van Zandt.

Why EuroDance music is not popular anymore!?

Radio is a phenomenon and must be treated with respect. Radio is like a virus, you catch it, u can’t treat it or find a cure.
It’s feeling you can’t describe. It’s interesting how with a mic u can talk to all the people and listen to what you playing.
But i found a man infected with this virus, we talked about music, and here is the result:

EurodanceBlog: Hello! How did you start to work as a DJ at RadiOK?
John Cristea : Well , not for a long time. I’ve been speaking at this radio’s mic for only 1 year. I was born with them 

EurodanceBlog: What kind of music does Radio K romote?
John Cristea : We play only hit music from 80’s, 90’s & today’s , adult contemporary. I can say it’s the same genre Europa FM plays.

EurodanceBlog: What is your opinion about eurodance music?
John Cristea : If you want a true answer... Well I really like it, has easy to remember choruses, it is nice and it’s a music that everyone listens to.

EurodanceBlog: This genre is not anymore on top?? Tell me your personal opinion...
John Cristea: No, nowadays styles of music change overnight. Today one style is popular, and tomorrow another is... You must keep connected to all the current styles to remain on top.... if you don’t, you will be forgotten.

EurodanceBlog: On radio is played the music from top 40 ?
John Cristea: It’s not like that a song can be on top 100. If the song has no impact, we don’t play it. It’s about that.... Music is like fashion, every year it changes and brings something new ... and music is like that... if we are not interested in it, we don’t play it.

EurodanceBlog: Why do European radios promote English & American music, while American and British radios only play their artists songs ?
John Cristea: It’s a matter of egoism. They prefer their music. European music is a intruder to them, which has little chances to be heard there.

EurodanceBlog: But how comes many female vocalists such as Melanie Thornton, Helena Paparizou, Anita Doth, Petra Marklund, Alexia to name a few, girls with a potential, are still unknown however...
John Cristea: Music industry is like a market. Today you are on top, and tomorrow you are unknown. The managers are responsible for this.
Having a voice and being able to compete with other artists is not enough, if u are in top it’s ok ... if not ... you’re not promoted

EurodanceBlog: But isn’t it radio’s fault if a song is not on top, even if artists launched new material!?
John Cristea: Yes you’re right but think about it : if the song has not that special feeling what shall we do ? We might lose our listeners... we promote what is promotable, and we also play the music our listeners chose.
I will repeat myself if the song doesn’t have that feeling we won’t play it, but our listeners also have their word to say in the choice of music we are playin here.

I will start with a sad news after Nana Hedin , Anita Doth who are fighting with the number 1 enemy called Cancer.. Annika Ljungberg Rednex lead singer announced that she has cancer.... friends and family are beside her... 

Maybe somebody with brain will think to do a  concert benefit with all eurodance acts to support this cause...

What ever happen with them....

In the 90's they said "I can't stand it" and were "Slave to the music" bringing hysteria on dancefloor, you guess it what ever happen with Nance? After the departure from Twenty 4 Seven the dutch blond release a few singles and then she concentreted over the television This Year she came back on music replacing Anita Doth in the music project Diva's of Dance.

What happen with Stella the girl who replace Nance, she is doing very fain she open a event agency in Netherlands she will ever come back!? Stella said: she will think about it! 

1995 when 2Unlimited said that will take a break a german dance project rised i'm talking about of Mr.President many 2Unlimited fans quickly fallen in love of this project : T Seven, LayZee and Daniela Haak were the at that periode the Mr.Presidents of clubs  with dance succeses like : "Up'n away, I'll follow the sun, "Coco Jambo", "I give you my heart","Jojo Action", "Give A Little Love" and "Simbaleo"

 But the end of this project was also near cause one of the most charismatic girl from project announced that she will left the project after the "Space Gate" release, sources said that the real reason why T she left the project was because of Mr.P manager Jens Neumann.

T release a few singles but without success now is concentrated over her new passion radio, but music still pumping in her heart because in 2012 she release a country version of Scooter hit "How much is the fish"..video here 

Daniela Haak will continue to collaborate with the project till 2005 when the brains of this project Kai Matthiesen and Jens Neumann said that is time to stop..

The name Mr.President was took by another project an american this time and they do jazz, Jens was asked if the brand Mr. P was sold to them but  never confirmed... 

2006 was Yanou time when he decided to made a new dance project, and choose Eliza Krul to be the face of the project. And Liz Kay project was born it was to meant a copy of Cascada. But the girl with cat eyes decided to take a break in 2011 when she decided to start work in social media marketing, will ever see these girls back on the that projects !!?

Because my previous articles about this subject were very interesting for someone of you, i decided to make a new one.
For girls - the make up was the secret weapon to look different, or to be more commercial, but many of you really  know how singers look without their secret weapon !?
