BassHunter arrested

The 25 years old swedish dj Basshunter aka Jonas Erik Altberg was arrested Friday December 10 in Kitty's nightclub in Kirkcaldy  Scotland reports BBC News.
The international artists known after his hits like "Now You’re Gone" And "Dota" was accused of sexually assaulting by two womens.

A Fife Constabulary spokesman said: "Police in Fife can confirm that a 25 year-old man has been arrested in relation to alleged offences committed at Kitty's, Hunter Street, Kirkcaldy, and has been bailed to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in due course."

The manager of Scottish club appologys for Altberg's behaviour: "We were totally embarrassed by his conduct." says the club manager.

Basshunter and his manager denies the accusations and would  co-operate fully with the police investigation.

After Mikrofonkåt comes Me and my microphone

After September success version of "Mikrofonkåt" –now comes the English version.
"Me and my microphone" is the name of the song that has already aroused great interest in England and America
- It is completely unbelievable! says Petra Marklund.

September's success with "So much the better" version of Petters' Mikrofonkåt "continues.
Sales in Sweden has passed the platinum, and the song continues to top the charts.
September thought to try now "Mikrofonkåt" in English –the new version it's called "Me and my microphone".
- “At first I thought it would be difficult to change the text into another language, but I figured I'd try anyway. And there was actually no surprise, it was really good! she says.

What is distinguishes in "Mikrofonkåt" and "Me and my microphone" in addition to the language and title?
- The theme is slightly different in English, it is not possible to translate word by word but I kept that emotion. Then I had rather do on a slightly different way, and try to get a little clever, and funny. I sing about me and my pickups are out in the world and sing and live flea, "said Petra Marklund and laughs.
The song topped the charts in several countries, and is also the first hit single from September's upcoming album "Love CPR". - The English record companies think it's great, and also from the USA, we have received good response. It is quite unbelievable, really fun! she says. Petra

Alexandra Prince and Pandora

"I am here for Hip Hop" says Alexandra Prince(Nana & Sqeezer), recently Miss Prince put her touch on Phantom Black new track called "Home", and is not the first time when Alex is doing this kind of collaborations, in '97 and '99 she marked Nana's hits "Lonely, "He's Coming",  "In My dreams", so the new tune will have the same fate,  "Home"will be released soon on all digital platforms, more details here.

Pandora showed on facebook the name and the front cover of  her new single, the song is called "Anne's song" and is made in duett with Peter Jezwski a ballade who is available on itunes and amazon, but more details here.

Da Blitz

The lead singer of italo dance project Da Blitz, Vivian B is busy working on new collaborations. The newest one is with Dj Thunderstorm called "She's my only" a track in the same style italo dance.  The tune will be available soon on all digital platforms. Also you can see Vivian today December 15 on Teatro Don Orione, Piazza Montale in Torino at Christmas Jazz Festival.

Ellie White ready to "Love Again"

Ex Dj Project lead singer finally decided to release a new video called "Love again"(the english version of "Nu te mai vreau"). The video cost ex Dj Project member almost 10000 euros and was shoot in Media Pro studios in format 16:9 HD, the official release of the video will be near Christmas Eve.
Ellie White aka Elena Baltagan wrote the songs with Inna's producers Play &; Win, and the romanian version already climbed on romanian charts on the poll positions. More pics from video shooting here.

Ultra Nate came out with a new single this year. The American dance diva, famous after huge hits like: "Free", "Found a cure", "Desire","Get It Up (The Feeling)","Automatic" and "Give It All You Got" all #1 singles,  bring  "Destination" a single released with Tony Moran which is currently climbing in the Billboard Dance Play chart.
At the moment Ultra Nate is preparing a new material with Strictly Rhythm team which will be launched next year and it’s Ultra's 8th full length studio album entitled "Hero Worship",  and the first single who will promote the material will be called "Turn It Up". Agnes The Liverpool dance project Cahill made a remix of Agnes "Big Blue Wall" song who is included on "Dance Love pop" material. A preview here.

Brooklyn Bounce dj Denis Bohn released on digital platforms an album with Brooklyn Bounce remixes, the name of that material is "BB-Styles(Dj Edition)" and was released on December 12 under Mental Madness Records more infos here.

Schiller aka Christopher von Deylen was invited on DW Tv to spoke about his starts in this industry, and also to talk about his music projects,Christopher confirmed that the new material will be out this December and available on all digital megastores. Jocelyn Brown( Todd Terry, Change) is back with a new music project called Allstars Collective and can be see live Tonight(December 10) at Jazz Cafee.

Guru Josh Project released a new single called "This is the night", and was oficially released on September, a smack preview here.

Scooter's next album should be released around Spring 2011. On 25th June, Scooter will perform in Hamburg IMTECH Arena, a stadium which offers a capacity of 60.000 persons, for a special concert called "The stadium techno inferno". Scatman John ep. 7

His third album "Take Your Time", produced by Kai Matthiesen (producer of Mr. President, B-Charme, Crispy) , was released on October 1999. Sadly, it was also be his last, because he died of a cancer the 3rd December of the same year at his home in California. There were no music videos made for any of the tracks on this album owing to John's poor health. "Take Your Time" was released as a six-track CD-single. "Ichi Ni San...Go" was released as the follow up. In Japan, "The Chickadee Song" was released as a double-A-side single.
It featured the album version and remix ofThe Chickadee Song and the album version and 2 remix versions of "Take Your Time".
After John's death, the "Take Your Time" single was re-released. This time it had only 4 tracks and a banner on the cover which mentioned "In Loving Memory Of Scatman John".

Mr. President front lady T Seven is back with a new material and a new music project. Her project it's called JUDY & THE FISH TOWN COWBOYS and the single "How much is the fish" a cover after Scooter but in country style more infos here.


Carolina Marquez is preparing a new single for 2011, the tune will be made by Kylian Mash and Vanni Giorgilli.


Pandora said on her facebook account that it's working on the new material the launch and the name is unknown yet.

Scatman John ep. 6

Owing to the massive success of the "Scatman's World" album the follow up followed the same path and themes. It wasn't as successful commercially as the debut but still had enough energy and passion to keep John in the game. The Japanese release of the album, again, featured a different cover and 5 bonus tracks. The original title of this album was rumored to be "Journeys Of Fantasy" but was replaced with the title of the first single to make the cut from the album.


At the same time in Japan, John was everywhere. He made the television circuit usually performing "Scatman (Ski Ba Bop Ba Dop Bop)" or "Everybody Jam!". However he was hired to appear in 2 Japanese commercials, one for pudding (featuring the track "PriPri Scat") and one for cosmetics (featuring the song "Su Su Su Super Kirei"). "Super Kirei" was the second track off this album to spawn a music video, this time a little less extravagant than "Everybody Jam!" The video featured John in a featureless room riding a mini trike, producing flowers like a magician and dancing around. He is also filmed in a basement and a cgi kitchen.

Besides "Everybody Jam!" "Let It Go" was also released as a single, although the album version does not feature on it. As far as I know no video was made for the track. The Invisible Man was rumored to be a single release at one point, this never happened though.

Scatman John ep. 5

"Only Love" was the third single from the "Scatman's World" album. Whilst Europe got the "Song Of Scatland" single this was the Japanese release in its place. "Popstar" it was another  track released as Cd promo in 95 by Gramaphone Records.
In October John prepared a new single called "Everybody Jam" a song inspired from Jazz  his love, and a tribute to his childhood idol Louis Armstrong, in interview John explains why was inspired by Luis :
  “Louis was the first and strongest influence on my musical existence. There have been many masters of music, of soul, but for me Louis is the father of them all.'



The story of the video was this : Scatman walking through a car park at night, when he glances up the spirit of Armstrong appears. The pair agree to duet and the action switches to a New Orleans Mardi Gras street party. Armstrong and Scatman ride along the road in an open top limo whilst a marching band precedes them and various children dressed as Scatman dance around. There's also shots of John by various New Orleans Landmarks. The video ends back in the car park as Armstrong disappears.

The single soon was followed in November by the album with the same title.

Regi Sylver and Milk inc producer is ready for another launch ... not a rocket launch but close, "Runaway" is his next  single, after "Take it off" made in collaboration with Kaya Jones (Pussycat Dolls), "Runaway" is the fifth single from  Registrated 2 and was played Friday in Regi's radio show.

Whigfield  ( NaaN) released a new single called "Go!" made in collaboration with Auxman, the tune will be official released on December 10.

Quintino next single will be called "I Feel Like Dancing".

Daniel Bovie finally decided to release a new single, the tune is called "My Destiny" and was released in October.

Scatman John ep. 4

The "Scatman's World" album was created by Ingo Kays and Tony Catania, and majority of the lyrics were inspired by the obstacles and inspirations in Johns life. "Scatman (ski ba bop ba dop bop)" deals with the fact that John stuttered. Famously his main concern with recording was that people would discover he stuttered, his wife suggested he make it the focus of the song and declare to people that he was a person who stuttered. Time (Take Your Time) deals with Johns time at Alcoholics Annonymous, a theme which would be explored on tracks "Let It Go" & "Hey You".

The third single released from the "Scatman's World" album was "Song Of Scotland" it was an odd choice for a single as it didn't follow the high powered techno vibe of it's predecessors. This was a ballad about Scatman's vision for the world we should all try to create. It was not released in the UK, neither were the subsequent albums or singles. At this point Scatman seemed to have been deemed non profitable, and so this was a European release.

Scatman John ep. 3

Scatman's World was the follow up single to "Scatman (Ski Ba Bop Ba Dop Bop)" entitled "Scatman's World". This was as successful as it's preceding single and maintained Johns status as a popstar. The track deals with his world view and philosophy based on a vision of a utopian society he calls "Scatman's World" in which we all co habit peacefully and help each other out.

The video begins with a reporter interviewing a disillusioned boy who is on his way to visiting "Scatman's World" from then on the boy is submerged in water whilst idylic images of fields and trees play out, intercut with crowds traffic and general hustle and bustle. Scatman sings against these backdrops about the need to find peace inside of ourselves.




The single came from his debut album of the same name "Scatman's World" , released in the summer of 1995, and sold more than 3 million copies.
Th the same year, Scatman John was given the 'Artist of the Year' award in Japan, has received the Golden Europa award for single sales, the Echo Award in Europe for 'cross-over artist of the year', and an MTV Europe Music Award in the Best Male Artist Category, alongside Michael Jackson, Dr. Dre, Neil Young, and Lenny Kravitz. Scatman-mania has, without a doubt, circled the globe.
