Alive - the new album from Mel Jade

It's been awhile since Mel Jade didn't show new music on her web channels but this "break " had behind a reason - a new material.

"Alive" it's called and will be ready for sale on August 5th - an material full of passion and emotions combined with modern sounds.

Mel Jade :  My debut album is called 'Alive'. It's available to pre-order now but is officially released on August 5th. I'll be giving away little presents that have something to do with the lyrics every week until it is released on my Facebook/Twitter/Youtube. 

Eurodance Blog: Can you tell me a little bit of Alive your new material ?

Mel Jade  : Musically the album has a lot of different influences as I listen to so many styles of music. There are definitely some dance and electronic influences in there.

Eurodance Blog: Who wrote this album ? 

Mel Jade  : I wrote the lyrics and melodies on the album. 

Eurodance Blog: What's the story behind of Alive ?

Mel Jade : When I first started writing the album, I didn't know what it was going to be about, but every song I wrote seemed to revolve around similar themes like feeling alive, risk, living to the fullest, retro romance, feeling sparks and fantasy. I guess that's what I've been feeling!

Eurodance Blog: Aliens the single released in Europe, why is not on this album  ?

Mel Jade : The song Aliens was remixed and released by the Pretty Boys of Saint Tropez. I was doing some volunteer work in Cambodia at the time the song was released, so I was out of touch with the world. I had no idea that the song was doing so well in Europe until someone told me via email!

 'Alive' will only have songs on it that are 100% my own as it's my first solo project  I wanted it to really represent me and be something that I created.

Eurodance Blog: What about Electric ?

 Mel Jade : Electric is the first track on the album! That one hasn't been released as an official single yet.

Plagiarism or not !?

Zoe Badwi's song "Torches" was taken by dj Liviu Hodor and with Deepside Deejays, and they made as their own Liberty Parade anthem. It's called "We are liberty" and can be listen here Liviu's version. You decide if the songs are or not same synths Torches the orginal.
Zoe's new single it's "My way with you", and was made with 2 Faced Funks preview here

Inna was awarded in Mexic with Best East European artist. The singer was touched by this award and she thanked everybody who vote for her. Inna recently release in Mexi their the new single "Dame tu amor".

Evelyn(Mike Candys) join forces with romanian artist Alex Mica for the single "Like a freak", it's nice summer song, and you can listen  here.

Helena Paparizou is on the this month's issue of Lifo Magazine, Eurovision song winner appeared on the cover kissing a girl, showing this way her support for the campaign against homophobia.

Kim Lukas came after so many years with a new song - "Sad Girl", who was made in collaboration with Soundlovers lead vocalist Nathalie Aarts. "Sad Girl" can be listen here.  

Mel Jade made a collaboration with dutch dj Farre, the tune it's called "Rock an roll" and can be listen here.

Manu LJ release finally her summer video "That's amore", a video shoot in italian town - Riccione. Preview here

Nadia Ali IIO came with a new song made in collaboration with EDX, it's called This is your life and you can  watch the video here 

Jam & Spoon lead singer Plavka did a re edit of "Rhythm in the night" with David May & Amfree. The remix was made as tribute to Mark Spoon one of the Jam & Spoon who died in 2006. The song was also covered  by Miss Whigfield in 2009. Both versions can be found here 

Melody Castellari - No dance projects at the moment

Melody Castellari one of the enigmatic and best dance singers is working on a new material with an italian artist, and the material will be out soon but will be not dance.

The singer also mentioned that is also touring in Europe and Italy as the Voice of the 90's.

Melody : At the moment i don't have in plans dance projects but now i work on an album with an italian artist. I'm also touring in Italy and in Europe as The Voice of the 90's.

Hangover

Benassi Bros singer Dhany came with a new collaboration but this time the italian artist from Reggio Emillia choose - not only to gave the voice, but also to appear in the promotion video.
It's was a great decision from italian dance diva, because she loose so much when she didn't appear in the Marc Mysterio video "Everything is all wrong", a great song but an "uninspired" video.

The new project was made with polish dj Krist van D and the song it's called "Hangover".

Dhany says: I'm so happy about this collaboration it's a song about love and was wrote by me, Krist van D and Dawid Bas. Hangover will be out next week on June 10th 2013.

Daniela not only appears in the new project but she shows how beautiful she is ... what's your secret Dhany!?

Sweet Child O' Mine

It seems that Regi and Co will release another cover. Invited last week on Qmusic Belgium Regi and Linda aka Milk inc performed a cover after Gun's roses huge hit "Sweet Child o'Mine", it seems that the Milk inc are thinking to release a cover album  in couple of months, already they did for this material 18 tracks for Qmusic show.
 We really don't know if "Imagination", the song promoted last month in Regi show, will be included on that material.
Why this turn!? because of their success with "Last night the dj saved my life" who reached no #1 on Itunes Charts and had a lot of success in Belgium.
