Melanie Thornton ep . 1

Melanie Janene Thornton was born in May 13th 1967 in Charleston, South Carolina. She studied voice from the age of six, played the piano and the clarinet and learned how to act and to dance. Later she financed her College studies with appearances in talent shows and smaller band concerts. She frequented a club called The Peacock Lounge, getting up and doing jam sessions when the live band invited people up to sing. She had long dreamed of a career in music. Her parents had a friend of a friend who was a singer in Charleston. Even though she didn't get to go out and see her, she saw pictures and heard them talk about her work and heard her talk about going out on the road.When she was growing up her mother would listen to Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack and The Temptations, a lot of the Motown music artists. She would mimic the female vocalists she saw on TV or heard on radio. More tomorrow

Dj Project It seems that the new vocalist of Dj Project will be Giulia (Candy), Giulia worked with Vali Barbulescu and Marius(Akcent), now it seems that will be the new voice of Dj Project.

Giulia says on Balkanika website : "I am delighted to be part of DJ Project. I was also a fan of this band since it's launch. Nice to work with two of the most professional people in romanian music industry who contribute to one of the most notorious and beloved musical dance project".

The last single with Elena was "Over and over again" launched this month.



T-Spoon's single "No time 2waste" entered the official Dutch GfK Mega charts at # 95 and still climbing .

Basshunter, Dan Balan

Basshunter made a cover of Nick Kamen's success "I promised my self" also this tune was covered in 2004 by A*Teens & John Davies.
The track is included on Basshunter new material called "Bass Generation"... "I promised my self that i will wait for you" ;-)






Dan Balan former member OZone & Crazy Loop came back on Europe music scene with a new single called "Chica Bomb", the video was launched in Romania this month and soon will be launched in Europe too..

Aqua After their success with "Back to 80’s" , Aqua have just released their second single from their "Greatest Hits" album called "My mamma said" a ballad who is the most saddest songs ever about death , once again Lene & Co prooves that it’s not only a bubblegum band and this new style feet’s them very well.Along with this single they release and a cool video directed Rasmus Laumann.

Christiane Eiben(Dj Bobo,SAY,Loft) will be back on music scene in December with Seven Up band her new project. You can see her live on 20 December on Stadthalle Göttingen, 15 Clock Clock & 19:00 CET.



Infernal Lina & Paw are back in studio preparing the new tracks for the future Infernal material. Lina said on Infernal website: "So far I think we have like 50 tracks stretching from only a bassline to fully produced four minute tracks with breaks and details and all the little things that make music interesting."
The new single will be ready in the spring and the album in the fall next year.
