Romanian singer Alexandra Stan she beat kpop sensation Girls Generation, her recent album Unlocked is no 1 in top dance albums in Japan and #5 in most downloaded albums, competing with kpop divas Girls Generation who are on the same top at no #18 with the album The Best.

It's not the only success of Alexandra there, Dance is # 2 in top 40 for about 7 weeks competing with other kpop sensation Sistar and Kara.Alexandra said that her future single will be called "Back to light" and will be released soon.

Circus by Solid Harmonie

A few posts ago i talked about the return of Solid Harmonie. Beki Russo, Melissa Graham  and Elisa Aaron are finally back with a new single. The most surprising part is that the girls are coming with a new style of music dance and Circus confirm it.
The new single was released under belgian label Bip Records and was wrote by Melissa Graham

Basic Element new single

The swedish eurodance project Basic Element is coming this days with a new single. Basic Element aka Peter Thelenius, Jonas Wesslander & Andrea Myrander made a new single  but they didn't tell the name.
Contacted by Eurodanceblog, Jonas Wesslander confirmed that Basic Element is returning on eurodance scene with a new single.

Jonas: Yes, we are coming back ...
Eurodanceblog : Can you tell us what is the title of the new single ?
Jonas: Sorry no! But we will present it this Saturday, and release it on the same time on this event www.welovethe90s.fi.

The event it's in Helsinki - Finland  and it's called We love the 90s , Pandora will be on guest list also.

Kate Ryan the belgian singer shocked the fans with her new haircut. Kate Ryan posted on twitter a photo with the new look, and fans quick replaying asking why she choose that look!
To clarify Kate Ryan choose that look in order to promote the new single Not Alone, the message is addressed  to people who are fighting with wellness, and the new look fits with the theme of the single.

The australian singer Mel Jade is preparing  a new video for the single Bliss. the news was shared by the singer on twitter. Bliss is the new song that will be included on Mel Jade future material.

Betsie Larkin also is working on the new single with Ken Loi . The singer didn't say the title and when will be release the new single, but is really excited about the result.

  

Ice bucket challenge hits eurodance

The phenomenon Ice Bucket Challenge arrived in "eurodance garden" if i may call it this way, Ak Swift lead rapper of Magic Affair was nominated to drop a Bucket full of ice and water by his daughter Cleopatra Latifah.
Ak accepted the  challenge and also donate to ALS cause and he challenge Angela Merkel, Bernd Waldstädt, Franca Morgano of Magic Affair, and Penny Ford of Snap. The video can be seen here

The  Ice Bucket Challenge according to Wikipedia  is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on someone's head to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or short ALS . Many people in the world  answered to this challenge but the videos who had many views were the failures...

A new material from Dave McCullen !?

Dave McCullen Lasgo and Ian van Dhal just confirmed that right now is working on a new album. Dave McCullen as known after the collaboration with belgian trance project Lasgo together with Evi Goffin(lead singer of the project) who recently become his wife, and Peter Luts. In 2006 Dave and Evi left Lasgo and now is working on new material. The title of the material and when will be finished is not yet established.

Kyra change her image

From Royal Wife played in german dance project Pharao , Kyra aka Claudia Banerjee came on dance scene with a new image as Goddess of Peacock - Isis, Hera in Greek mythology, Juno in Roman mythology, and Saraswati  in hindi.

Why this turn of image, because Kyra things that is the time to evaluate, to change, and Isis represents what she is now.

Isis was the goddess of  health, marriage, and love in Ancient Egyptian religious beliefs and represented by a  peacock.

 Preparation for the new project are still  under work, and the fall will came with big surprise from Kyra - sorry Isis! 

Simone Denny a new material

The lead singer of eurodance project Love INC. -Simone Denny, shared last weekend a photo from recording studio with the message studio session vocals for Stereo Dynamite.

New releases from Terri B!

Terri B! is  revving up worldwide releases, and first stop is Brazil, where Energia 97 has picked up the infectious EDM title "Beautiful Daylight" (Vee Brondi and Terri B! on Building Records). A collaboration with Jay Frog is finally complete with a new version of the Classic Funky Dogs, Fired Up, which Terri performs flawlessly on the superb Deep and Soulful track by Jay Frog, one of Germany's most well known Deejay producers. Daniela Haak sued by one of Mr.President producer

Daniela Haak one of Mr.President front ladys apologies  because one of 90's show was canceled, and she wasn't her fault.
The singer said that one of Mr.President producer contact her to inform that she would be sued because she dare to use Mr.President and Coco Jambo name to promote a show.
Daniela she didn't mention who was the producer who contact her through lawyer.

Is really hard for me to say that the 90's show was canceled and moved on 4th of the november 22:00 cet on the same place.
One of our former producer; I would not like to name names; has made its license rights.The Applying and implementing such an event I probably violate the rights of the word mark "Coco Jamboo" and Mr.President.

And all earnings from the last show and the one planned  to be given to the producers, i really don't know much because i was contacted by the lawyer and not the producer via email, now i contact my lawyer to resolve this issue.

And because of this I have to postpone the planned event. A cost accounting of the lawyer I have already received, the last sentence of the lawyer was: Payments that arrive after the deadline or in part, may give cause for legal action against you ...

The tickets are still valid for the event

Kate Ryan back on track

It was the time for Kate Ryan to release something new, and she did came back with a new track but also she came to the old look from Libertine and Mon coeur resiste encore videos and is more feminine then ever.
I really love the new look but also the song Not alone a song wrote in french and was promoted last week in Poland.
Kate is not turning back to her look but also to her music style, what can i say more success with the track which is anthem for those who are lost .
The video for the song  will be out later this month.

If many eurodance artists are busy with their summer activities others are concern  of their look. It's the case of lead rapper of Twenty 4 Seven Stay C, who recently after she took a break from Acceleration tour, tough that it's time for something special - a new tattoo, not a ordinary tattoo a dreamcatcher a nativeamerican amulet that legends says about  Spider Woman, known as Asibikaashi; she took care of the children and the people on the land. Eventually, the Ojibwe Nation spread to the corners of North America and it became difficult for Asibikaashi to reach all the children. So the mothers and grandmothers would weave magical webs for the children, using willow hoops and sinew, or cordage made from plants. The dreamcatchers would filter out all bad dreams and only allow good thoughts to enter our mind. Once the sun rises, all bad dreams just disappear.

For many of you Mr.President was the band who launch the mega hit Coco Jambo from my point was not so powerful like Give a little love who had and the most expensive video at that time shoot in hungarian studios, but  everyone is keep asking what the old team is doing so for those who miss the girls from Mr.President this article will be good news, i hope.:)

T Seven fb profile was invited by fans asking to reunite ex members, but don't worry LayZee is touring as LayZee from Mr.President and in his show you can listen the hits of MR.P, from what i know TSeven manager didn't agree to join LayZee reunion in 2011 but  now is very hard to see once again MR.President in old formula, but who knows maybe someday will  be able to see them for one more time, like 2Unlimited, Vengaboys, Masterboy or Fun Functory the originals did..

Alexandra Stan reveled that a new album is finished and ready to release, what is amazing about this album is that Alexandra also cowrote a few songs with help of her music producer. The news was revealed in the interview gave to directlyrics.

Yes, that’s true, I’m launching a new album this year, quite soon actually. We’re not revealing the launch date yet, but it’s safe to say you won’t have to wait for TOO long.
......The album is almost done, we’re working on the final touches right now. I really like the result and I’m so eager to launch it. ....It comes with a new positive vibe, you get to have new experiences. I enjoyed the studio hours and I loved working with these amazing people. When we’re all there in the studio we have so much fun that it doesn’t feel like work. The holiday for Manu LJ ended bad.

The singer Manu LJ shared with her friends from FB, that airline operator Alitalia lost her luggage.

After i waited hours for the plane to go home, Alitalia did it once again lost my luggage. The positive side  is to find your old wardrobe you've love. :) said the singer
