Bought loads of fireworks yesterday. The cashier looked at me intently & said: CASHIER: I need to see your ID. ME: You're joking, right? I assure you, I'm over 18 yrs. old. CASHIER: Sorry, but I have to be sure. Some teenagers had been trying to masquerade as adults today so they can get away with buying dangerous fireworks. ME: Really? Okay... The times we are living are the rush ones, gadgets invaded the markets : smartphones, tablets smart tv's and high speed internet are in every house.
It's the era of new technologies, and it's nothing wrong because this gadgets are part of our life somehow.
I will start this article saying a story that i was part of. A few weeks ago i saw a children watching music videos is nothing wrong no!? Yeah nothing wrong when you have a5 year old birthday, and all the quests are watching dance videos with naked girls.
And the father was very proud saying that it's her boy birthday and it's not the first time when he's watching this..
We all know that at this age the children are very receptive and are copying what they see on tv.
So i decided to do some research and talk with people about this matter: nudity in mass media in music video especially. And i found in a research made by University in Hawaii and RAND corporation Study about this problem, and they say:
Children are easily influenced and will often model what they see, this is why age is important factor to consider when children are watching tv.Young children cannot differentiate between what is real and what is not. Because of this they become vulnerable to what is shown to them on Tv, frequently adopting the attitudes and behaviors portrayed. Other negative effect are disinhibition the bystander effect and fear. Disinhibition is when a person has a reduced ability to restrain themselves in a impulsive situation.Also the presence of sexual activity in a video can also greatly influence the attitudes of children mainly adolescents. Sexual activity has been portrays more of recreational activity leading many youths to behave more promiscuously and engage in sex at earlier age. Within the past few years the amount of sexual content shown on television has doubled and in those portrayals little is said about the consequence of unprotected sex. Although there are other factors that influence teen pregnancy the journal of pediatrics recently established a link between television viewing and teen pregnancy. Adolescents who have high levels of exposure to media that contain sexual content are twice as likely to be involved in a pregnancy over the following three years as their peers who watch few such shows according to a RAND corporation Study.
Sexual content shown on Tv especially in music videos has a bad influence to the youth especially the 4-5 years old.
So i asked people about the sexual content shown in music videos and their negative effect on children.
Dr. Ana Neamtu : Yes of course letting your child watching Tv especially music videos with mature content, on long term the side effects is sexual inhibition. Inhibition : A mental state or condition in which the varieties of expression and behaviour of an individual become restricted.
Alina Cojocaru (psychotherapist & study abroad counseller) : Yes,the problem letting your child watching tv on mature content that now is everywhere especially on music videos .The parents must do schedule with hours spent on tv combined with fun activities .
Catalina Neata (psychotherapist): Off course are the bad examples and one of side effect are habit disorders that on long term are producing anxiety, sexual dereglation - inhibition. Are of main causes of mature sexual content shown in music videos and on tv.
Loredana Ungureanu (parent ): I decide what my little girl is watching, i have the remote, but also i'm very pleased that she is in a kindergarden were activities are full with programs for her age so from this part i'm not so concerned.
Irina Isac(teacher) Is a big problem because, for parents is so easy to let you child in a front of tv and you, parent are free for few hours to do what you want, but also a problem for those who are promoting this kind of music letting on the first place the popularity of the video, or the show without knowing that children can watch this with or without permission. Parents must do many recreative activities with their children, we all know that we leaving in times where work is on the first place, but the more important is the health of your child who later are becoming grown man with some issues, big issues.

After so many changes in the group singers who had something with real RedNex. The swedish project Rednex is back with a new team: Dagger, Ace Ratclaw, Joe Cagg, Abby Hicks, Dakotah, and Misty Mae.

In January 2012 did Rednex develop and introduce a new idea. This idea is totally unproven and unheard of in the music industry, so basically in Rednex terms, pretty much the way we have always done things... a bit different... We now have a larger community of performers, a ”pool” of artists that in total make up more than one Rednex set-up. The days of a permanent band is gone, though on stage we will normally perform with one girl and three guys (as we have done since 1998). As you know, Rednex has changed performers many times and have had 15 performers in total up until 2011 with various different set-ups (see a collection of them below), so in a way, this new idea is not entirely new, but boosted towards greater freedom and flexibility. This idea will create more freedom for all performers and the Rednex group itself since Rednex will not be entirely dependent on one single performer. This makes it possible for Rednex to always play anywhere at anytime.
In this original idea will be included also the previous singer Mary Joe who was responsible of Rednex successes: Cotton eye Joe, Old Pop In An Oak ,Wish You Were Here, Spirit Of The Hawk and many others.

It's been a good year for lead singer Jelle van Dael (Lasgo). The singer announced on her twitter account that she's really happy of the year that is almost gone, she had a lot of projects in 2013 and this week she had finally the time to buy a car that she's really like. (It's a korean car) I'm really happy that finally i got the time to buy this week a car that i love very much. said Jelle
About Lasgo the singer is writting songs but right now the producer Peter Luts is really busy with his own project, and we don't know when new things from Lasgo will come out.

Last summer on June 6th i posted a news about Kyra the lead singer of Pharao.
The singer explained that 2013 is the year when she will coming back on dance scene with new tunes.
2013 will be the return of Kyra. We finished right now the first single. A collaboration with well known house producer and dj BK Duke (Pacha Rec.)
And she's coming, like she said with a collaboration between german dj BK Duke and Lazard. And the single is "6 o'clock (we rock)".
Asked BK Duke when will be release the dj answered: We don't know a exactly date of this single because the label didn't tell us. Until now we organized some new remixes, and we expect news from them. But i can tell you the name of the single "6 o'clock (we rock)", a song that was made with me - BK Duke, Lazard, Kyra and Will Gibbs.

The vocal trance singer Andrea Britton posted a picture with a new look on her twitter account. Saying that it's time for a new change.
Asked why this change the singer answered that is the new look for the forthcoming single that will be released soon.

The song tt's a little more different from her previous releases but i enjoyed listening , because reminds me a little bit of Race from Milk Inc.

Engelina is back but this time with another project Svenstrup &Vendelboe. Engelina was the front vocalist of danish project Dj Encore. The collaboration with Dj Encore started in 2000 when she was introduced to Dj Encore by an employee Sony saying that her vocals would fit with dj Encore music. And he was right, because their 1st single that Engelina released with Dj Encore was "I See Right Through to You" , a big hit in Danemark, UK.
But unfortunately in 2002 after Intuition release she left the project, and she joined the girl pop trio Sha Li Mar, with Christina Undhjem (former lead singer in YouKnowWho) and Ida Corr.
In a interview Engelina confess that she hated to be compered with a poster girl, and said also was the real reason of her departure form Dj Encore. I wanna be remembered through my music work as an artist, not being just the pretty face from a dance project . said the singer
Engelina wrote songs for famous artists like Kyle Minogue, Medina, Bass Hunter, F(x) and Asle who had a big club hit Remedy and My war.
Now she came back on danish dance scene with a new song entitled The Party Is Over Festen Er Forbi who is included on Svenstrup Og Vendelboe debut album.

Creeping Dub is the new single from deep house project Circus Ape, a track that can be compared with Bluefish hit Been Too Long.
Is a track which captivates and fascinates leaving enough to the imagination but at the same time fulfills aural listening pleasure the work of true artists!
The single was made with Matt Mitsubishis who tranformed this track in something else and very unique.

One of the vocalists from austrian project Unique II - Sheila Fernandez is coming these days with a new tune. On Top Of All it's calleda groovy pop song with some 70's influence, and in my opinion has it's the same style that Sheila sung with Uinque II . On Top Of All can be found on all digital platforms and will be included on her first solo album - "Better Than I am" characterized by the singer a hilarious and fun album to listen to.
Sheila she is also responsible of Unique II european hits like : Forever, 2be as 1, Lonely , The way i need to know, she joined the project in 1998 when Austrian top producers Erwin Geppner &; Werner Freistätter contact her and offer a deal with Sony Music.
The singer stick with the project till 2003. Forever is the album released with the project and one of the best dance albums, but unfortunately was released in the era of mainstream music.

Karlijn van Dinther was not the vocalist of Cockx but also an artist very appreciated in Holland recieving many awards at music festivals.

PowerFrancers the dance project from Italy are back with a funny song Dolce & Gabbana. Italy is know all over Europe from her amazing and various cuisine, fashion but also dance music.
Ice Mc, Double You, Spagna, Sabrina or Alexia are the Big names from italo dance scene, and Power/Francers is the new wave in this area. Pompo nelle case (Pump up the speakers) was their first big hitgathering almost 10 millions views on youtube and awarded with golden disc but was not the only successMamma was another hit from this project was very famous in their native country being the official theme of italian tv show Mammoni.

It's been a while since the swedish dance group Da buzz they haven't gotten anything new. But last week Per Lidén and lead-singer Annika Thörnquist posted a news on their twitter account about a surprise for their fans.
What kind of surprise i thinks is one that involves music. Da Buzz is one of the most popular swedish dance groups with a career spanning seven years, five albums, and 15 hit singles.
In 2009 they announced that will take a break and in 2010 came with a new single "U Gotta Dance" who was the theme of swedish tv show Let's Dance.

Regi also confirmed that the first single that will be promoted there, is Indeep cover "Last night a DJ saved my life" . If the single "Last night a DJ saved my life" will be successful will try to release and the album "Undercover". That single has worked pretty well in some European countries. The original version of Indeep is also known in America," and we hope to bring in U.S. some European music flavor said Regi.
It is a great news for the gang Milk inc, but also for U.S. fans who are waiting their new materials on american market.
Regi said also that it is a little septic of the release because US marketing is a big one, and the one who's controlling the mainstream radios and european charts, but he's still enthusiastic about the release.

The orginal member's of Fun Factory reunited. Toni Cottura( rapper/producer), Balja (original vocalist)Steve and Ski finnally decide that is the time to join forces again in the project who blow the charts in 90's with funny songs like : Celebration, I wanna be with you, Don't go away, Pain, Take your chance, Prove your love and many others.
That period was a great one because Tv's and radios were not so addicted to mainstream and naked videos, and music was created for listeners to have fun, even now are played and they have the same originality.
Coming back to FF, the team are touring now in Poland , US, and they made also a new track "Hands up" cover after Ottawan.
Let's hope that Tony, Baljia and Steve will stick each other for a long time to bring us more happy tunes from Fun Factory.
By the way is not the genre of music who can control listeners emotions but artists passion and devotion to the project.
In this crazy world of music where everyone is "very talented", but not through his work, but borrowing others names just to gather popularity - Medina is coming with something new. Jeg Venter - I'm waiting is a song that i really like very much, because was wrote in her native language danish, and it's about love, i think that's her glitter in her songs, to sing in your own language because is original and she gets something fresh.
The new single was performed this year at Danish Music Awards, and will be included For Altid the album.
Coming to my first phrase i really appreciate why new artists are borrowing names just to get public attention, i'm talking about Medina from Germany a group of rappers, and are not the first example, are so many ( Mr.President, Pandora, Spike etc.) who are borrowing names to get attention or to borrow synths from famous 90's hits.
I can compare all this stuff with the things made in China! We can call them Made in China, because they are nothing to do with the original are just a fake.
So stick with the originals :)
