Scatman John ep. 2

The single "Scatman John" was the track that propelled him to chart success in the summer of 1995.
The verse from the song were addressed to people who have the same issue(stutters) and not only:

"Everybody stutters one way or the other so check out my message to you.
As a matter of fact don't let nothin' hold you back if the
Scatman can do it....so can you."
Some of the lyrics were taken from his 1986 album.

The video was shot in black and white featuring a fractured screen with several boxes showing shots of John singing along with various random people dancing, miming and playing drums. This was played in heavy rotation on music channels in 95 and still is this days . He also performed the song live on BBCs Top Of The Pops show and Mtvs Most Wanted with Ray Cokes.

"Scatman" has been used in the films "Nothing To Lose" starring Tim Robbins & "BASEketball" starring Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

Scatman John ep. 1

    The story began in the summer of 1994 when John Larkin (Scatman's real name) was performing at the Alexandra Hotel in Norway. One afternoon, his agent called and proposed the concept of 'scat-rap'. Always game for something new, Larkin spent six hours in a recording studio, unsure what the finished product would sound like.
With the help of producers Antonio Catania and Ingo Kays, the first song, Scatman (Ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop), was completed and just weeks later skyrocketed to No. 1 on the Eurochart.
The song, which was released in the US as a CD single off RCA Records' Club Cutz dance compilation and can be heard on the soundtrack of the soon-to-be-released Touchstone Pictures film Nothing To Lose starring Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence, has sold more than two million copies world-wide to date. Des'Ray 2 Brothers on the 4th floor lead singer it's involved in charity event with NOVIB project in Sudan. NOVIB it is an association dedicated to establishing a fair world with no poverty in it.

Abigail Bailey released in May a single called "Don't Lie" who was remixed by Tom Novy and Jerry Ropero. The tune can be found here.

Haddaway hit single "What is love" was covered by american rapper Eminem on his new single "No love" and also by Abigail Bailey.

Abigail Bailey

Abigail Bailey the dance singer from UK is back on club charts with a new single called "Space Girl", a tune wrote by Abigail and remixed by Tom Novy and Jerry Roperro, and  was released this November on all digital megastores.
The single is a combination of  sounds:  electro, house & club but  mixed with the last ingredient Abigail's voice, who's making "Space Girl" a perfect club track, to convince you,  listen the Dj Mind and you'll find the answer, more infos about the single here.

Alexandra Prince is preparing a new song, right now is in the studio working with the latest deejay's  for her new master piece who will be available soon. Recently Alex worked with Madonna's boyfriend on the single "Dangerous" who's pumping up in the charts from Greece and not only.


Da Blitz The lead vocalist Viviana Presutti just release a new single called "Be as one", a song made with italian deejay Alex Raimondi and was released on November 25. More infos about this single here


Edward Maya who ruled world charts with the singles "Stereo Love" & "This is my life" finished his 3nd single "Desert Rain", the tune will be released soon on all digital megastores. Video here

Dj Project's lead singer Elena aka Ellie White is filming her first video "Nu te mai vreau (I don't need you)". The video will be ready this month.


Paffendorf new single is called "Will i ever" was not made in his old style like this project made his entrance in 90's ,  recently the dj team made a remix for the new dance project Stfu Vs. Boogshe called "Shut The Fuck Up 2010" more infos about this single here.

Interview Balca

Balca is one of the best kept secrets in Fun Factory's history. She was born on April 14th, 1976. She was credited on the projects 2 first albums and she appeared in their first video clip Groove Me. She could also have been the vocalist of the project 2 Raff.

In 2009 paired up with Romanian artist Vali Craciunescu to make the song "Surrender" for Eurovision preselection but the song was not chosen...
Balca this days is working on her solo material who's gonna be out next year, till then you can read the interview made with her.



Hello Tavi, First of all, thank you for your demand.

Balca how did you start your music career ?
I began my career when I was 14 years old, with Toni , Steve and Rod!


Many people knows you as the voice of Fun Factory... does it bother you?
No it doesn’t bother me it was my voice and I’m proud of that;) .


Why did you choose to be the "shadow" of this project ?
Because of a disagreement we separated, but we were still in a contract, so I had to sing further for FF..


What is your fav track from Fun Factory ?
My fav’s are Pain, Take your chance!





What do you think about dance music industry this days ?
You asked about Music industry, hmm... I think eurodance is dead and its getting harder everyday to bring out good music. That’s why I’m not only doing this!


Do you like to collaborate with some dance artists if you do with whom ?
I’m always open for projects as long as i can identify myself with it! Why, you wanna work with me?:-)


Future projects ?!
I’m doing a lot of other projects yes, but cant talk about it, sorry.

X-Perience Composers Mathias Uhle and Alex Kaiser aka X-Perience are working on new material with Manja Wagner the new vocalist. The material will be done this Spring, till now are ready 3 songs , more here.

Dance Nation next single will be called "Surround Me" and a video for this single was already shoot in L.A.

New staff from Twenty 4 Seven, T-Spoon, 2 Unlimited

2010 was without doubt an year of comebacks, Ray & Anita(2 Unlimited)gave the start with the new single "In da name of love" and soon was fallowed by other eurodance acts such as 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor, Twenty 4 Seven & T-Spoon.

Twenty 4 Seven In a recent interview gave to ParisGay, Stay C lead rapper explains about this comeback:
"I never planned to return into showbizz. But Ruud van Rijen asked me several times and also did I feel the artist in me wanting to get back on the stage. I love to perform and I feel like a fish in the water once I’m on stage with a mic in my hand. Of course the revival is an important reason as well. But we are working on a new album now, so even without the revival we would probably be back. " says Stay C
So in 2011 a new single will be on the away with Captain Hollywood and also a new album from the band who continues to say "Is it love".

T-Spoon Remy de Groot T-Spoon producer gave an interview to ParisGay were he said why he choose 3 acts with the same name T-Spoon.
Remy : We have the past, present & future, the past is T-spoon Reloaded with Shamrock & Linda, the present is the fresh young talented T-Spoon with Raw Jawz & Blondi, and The future is T-Spoon Dj Squad, for every generation there is something to enjoy about T-Spoon."
A new song will be launched in 2011 by T-Spoon with Raw Jawz & Blondi as the  new members.

2 Unlimited In a recent interview gave to Ape Magazine Anita and Ray explains that next year it is possible to use in gigs the name who made them who they are 2 Unlimited.
Anita : "We partly made that name what is, so why wouldn't be allowed to go and get to work with it again."
Ray also revealed then ame of their second single that will be soon released, it's called "Nothing to loose" and the new album will be fallowed in 2011.

Alone Together

"Alone Together" is the new single form danish eurodance project Infernal, the most remarkable tune from the newest material "Fall from Grace" a material which announced the comeback of this amazing act. "Alone together" will be released on all digital platforms, so prepare for a new look from Infernal and a new single..

Body Talk - Robyn

Robyn is one of top 10 Swedish pop/dance artists who's not fallow the "fashion wave" because Robyn is not the typical pop puppet. So her music is influenced by artists such as Prince,  Neneh Cherry & David Bovie and this pop genre gives to Robyn the opportunity to mixed the pop with modern styles , like her new material released under Konichiwa Records, her own label, called "Body Talk".
The record it's a combination of tracks from Body talk 1 and 2 but also and some new ones like this song "Call your girlfriend" who will be released like the album on November 22.
