The group has earned 19 gold and platinum records throughout Europe. Fans of the Konami arcade game Dance Dance Revolution know them from the numerous songs that, through the Dancemania series of albums, have been used in the game series. The group's music was also featured in other Konami music games such as beatmania and Dance Maniax.
After Captain Jack single Frankie shoot another video for "Drill Instructor".Frankie came with the idea to make of a dance track based on a drill routine and "Drill Instructor" was born. That idea became his style: songs about peace and love in the style of a military regime.

Franky Gee part. 3

In spite of attire they sing about love and peace, with sound of army drill commands and a nice dance beat. Captain Jack is far from being a militarist group. They explained that they were soldiers of a dancefloor and their weapon was groove. They only joked about the real army. "When soldiers are doing drill, they move rhythmically and are very energetic. If you would place them in the dancefloor and start play the music, they would do quite good" they explain. In their opinion, "soldiers are good ravers but they do not know about it". Beside that, Liza simply liked uniforms.
With the group were three cute dancers :Yvonne, Sandra and Sabine. At the very beginning Franky was not performing on stage neither on first single "Captain Jack". One of his friend Durban was performing, lipsyncing over Franky's raps. In December of 1995 Durban left, and Franky decided to start performing. Thanks to Karine Sanche

Jenny Berggren Ace of Base lead singer released her solo album called "My story", an material wrote by Jenny herself were she talks about love and hate inspired by life experince.

Ak Swift(Magic Affair) just gave a recent interview were he talks about his future projects, recently recorded new tracks with Pawel Tumbo Szczyrba producer for the eurorap project Legends & Dimonds. The first single with this project would be called "(The World Is) Hard & Cold" chours were made by C-Block former vocalist Misty aka Theresa Baltimore. more here

Franky Gee part. 2

Franky meet Captain Jack producers in the nearly 90's when Udo Niebergall and Richard Witte were looking for 2 voices a male and female to make a new dance project. Farnky was the one who came with idea to make a song about army and Captain Jack was born.
Liza da Costa explains : "The song provided us with the bandname, really!!. Captain was to be a project, but it became successful. Nobody really expected that."
The concept of Captain Jack was quite original : Franky Gee (the rapper) and Liza Da Costa (the first female vocalist) are performing in army uniform. The idea of the hat Franky wears comes from a mix of the caps of the Russian and American armies. The design was inspired of the US-Marines, the color came from the Red Army.

Alexia, Ultra Beat, Armin van Buuren

Alexia said in a recent interview: "I do music only for my fans, only they counts for me".
Alexia recently released her 15th album from her career called "Stars" and the story of this material it's very simple : "How TV system is manipulating young people!" more here

Ultra Beat the british group based in Liverpool release a new single called "Bring It Back", the tune was released on September 1st via itunes and beatport.

Armin van Buuren was nominated at Golden Gnome Award in the category ‘Best International DJ’ you can vote here, recently is working with Nadia Ali at "Feels So Good" video and his next single released from  album "Mirage".

Franky Gee part. 1

Franky Gee (his real name is Francisco Alejandro Gutierrez) was born in Havana, Cuba in 19th February 1962. He is 1,74 m tall and weights 80 kg. He and their parents immigrated to US and settled in Miami, Florida. His father Alejandro was a builder. His mother was named Ofelia. He had 3 sisters and brothers named Roberto, Mary and Carry. He wanted to become a pilot and even had studied aeronautics in College in Miami. Because of the strike the college students were forced to serve three years and Franky did not like the idea and dropped the school. His parents were not rich and he had to find a job. The easiest way was to join the army, so he did. His memories from this time is not the nicest one. He was later sent to Germany and in 1988 he was released from the duty. He decided to stay in Germany. At the beginning he worked as an insurance agent than become a broker in Frankfurt (Germany). He did not like the job, even if he was well paid. After a job as a restaurant owner, he became a DJ and started producing a dance music with his friends. He released the single "Oh Well under Westside". He also took part to a band named Black Russian. He was previously married and has three children.

Medina, September

Medina after she was nominated on Mtv music awards for the best danish act, Medina won double platinum for "Velkommen til medina" the danish album.

September announced that another song from her new material is done, it's called "We got the power", also Petra was chosen by a cosmetic company as image for their products.

Magic Affair, Susana, Edun

Magic Affair  lead singer, Franca Morgano  release a cover after Beats International 90's hit "Dub Be Good To Me", the song it's included o Franca Morgano new material who can be preorder here. Ak & Franca will be next month on October 9 in Duisburg for a 90's gig more infos here.

Susana released a new single from her debut album "Closer", the tune is made in collboration with Tenishia (Dash Berlin) and it's called "The Other Side",  the single was released on September 27th.

Edun release her new single "My Love Is Here For You" and on amazon. The song will be included on Edun's debut album.

Infernal, September, Whigfield

Infernal Paw & Lina released yesterday 27th September the new Infernal album called "Fall from Grace". The new material can be found on various online music stores.

September Petra announced o her Twitter account the name of her new song,  it's called "Only Girl" and will be included on her new album.

Whigfield released with Pochill a new song "Discipline" a chill out track who will be released on beatport, a preview here.

Luciana,Sylvia Tosun, Snap!

Luciana Her single "I like that" pulsates with new remixes in US music market, the remix pack is called "I Like That (ant Brooks Remixes)"  and was released out on August 29, the most amazing part of "I like that" it's the fact that the video promotion was made with low buget and now hits  the  charts all over the world.

Sylvia Tosun  delivers a new single "World Keeps Turning" a song from her new EP "Above All". Sylvia once again shows that classic music and dance music can be combinate and from this "chemical reaction" can arise a great EP. The material was made on Sea to Sun Records where co-owns with producer/songwriter Anton Bass. "Above All-EP" can be found here.

Milk Inc Concert

Last Saturday on Sportpaleis Antwerpen Belgium was Milk inc's Eclipse concert, a breathtaking live event with many guests like:


 Silvy( Sylver) where she sung with Linda the traditional duet of "I Don't Care" after that were fallowed by Turbo B(Snap!) who performed  the new song "We Be Hot" and some Snap! classic tracks "The Power" & "Rhythm Is A Dancer".

Regi kept the "atmosphere" with Milk inc tracks and played  the new single "Dance To Forget" with Linda, and  the crowd was excited on every song played by them.

A  memorable event who last like an eclipse were  all the tickets sold out, and with people who came from France, Germany&UK just to see  phenomenon Milk Inc  .       Info by Karine Sanche
